Chapter 16
Olivia sat down beside him and reached out to tidy up his soft hair.
Ezra’s little head was furry and felt really good.
“Well…”
“Ezra, did you use the tracker I gave you on William?”
“Well, Mom, you’re indeed the smartest mother in the world!” Ezra tried his best to flatter her while drinking chocolate milk.
“Give me your phone. Quickly!”
Olivia suddenly became serious. She picked up Ezra’s small mobile phone and cut off the source of the tracker’s signal. Then she quickly entered a series of restart codes until the red button on the tracker flashed again with a beep.
“Mom, are you worried that I will be tracked down in reverse?”
“You’re not stu pid. On the one hand, you will be tracked down in reverse. On the other hand, what’s more important are the traces of tracking. If William finds out that you, his dear fake son, and Lucian appeared here one after another…”
“Then I’ll be exposed! Mom, you’re awesome. But you seem to have connected the tracker to another signal just now. Who did you set up by the way?”
Ezra looked at his mother with admiration, his blood boiling.
Olivia looked at his excited expression. The muscles on her face couldn’t help twitching.
“You brat, now that you’re back, I’ll arrange for a helicopter to take you back tomorrow morning. You should go to bed early tonight…”
As Olivia spoke, she reached out to grab the little boy.
Ezra adamantly refused her. He avoided her grasp nimbly and said, “Don’t, Mom. I still haven’t caused any trouble for that scu mbag. I can’t go back now! I have to stay and fight side by side with you.”
As he ran around the sofa, he continued to try to persuade her with a barrage of excuses.
“You’ll be helping me a lot if you don’t let William find you again!” Olivia ran around the sofa twice, chasing after Ezra, but she couldn’t even touch a strand of his hair. The brat was so difficult to catch!

Ezra saw that his mother would not give up chasing him until she caught him, so he simply stopped running. He hugged Olivia’s thigh and tried every way to persuade her.
“Mom, don’t be impulsive. You must have a lot of things to do in the country. If the scu mbag finds out that his dear son is missing, he will definitely come to make trouble for you again.
“It will seriously affect your career. Even if you don’t think of yourself, you have to think of my younger brother, who is still recovering in the hospital bed! I promise that I won’t let William find out before my brother gets better!”
Olivia was being held tightly by the boy. She tried to pick him up, but he was stuck to her like glue. She couldn’t do anything about him.
She had to admit that what the boy had said made sense.
Now William didn’t know that she had taken away his son, but he felt that something was wrong with her and came to make trouble for her from time to time. If he found out about it, it would be even more difficult for her to carry out her plan.
It was indeed a tricky situation.
“Mom, you also think what I said makes sense, don’t you?” Ezra raised his head and looked at Olivia. She was obviously hesitating, so he knew that he was right.
He was so smart that he indeed was his mother’s son.
“Okay, you can just stay for a few more days. Be a good boy and be careful, okay?”
“Okay, I won’t be a drag on you! Well, Mom, do you have a way to send me back before my Dad gets home?”
William’s car was driving through the heavy rain. Due to the rain, the car was moving a little slowly.
Raindrops fell on the windows, making the people sitting in the car get lost in thought.
It had been a long time since it rained so heavily in Melburgh The last time it rained so heavily was five years ago…..
As William thought about it, his face became darker and darker.
Beep, beep!
A faint noise suddenly sounded in the quiet car, which made the people inside become vigilant in an instant.

Chapter 16
“Mr. Kinsman, that sound is…” Marshall immediately asked the driver to stop the car. His heart was in his throat.
William did not reply. He searched around the seat with his slender fingers. Soon, he found a coin-sized, yellow magnetic chip in the gap under
the mat.
The indicator light on it was still flickering faintly. Under the light, William’s face gradually darkened.
“Mr. Kinsman, this, this is a tracker? It shouldn’t be here. I checked the car before we went out. How can such a thing be here?”
Marshall looked at the small thing with a flickering red light in William’s hand and was extremely scared.
The flickering light was not indicating their location but the countdown of the time remaining of his life!
“Give me the laptop.”
It was rare for William to not get angry. He turned on the laptop and logged directly onto the data analysis system of the Kinsman family.
As he logged onto the system, he stuck the magnetic chip to the back of the laptop. Soon, a series of data updates appeared on the screen.
