Chapter 3
Meanwhile, in the airport.
Ezra Clarke was sneaking around with a cap and a mask on, terrified that his mom’s men would recognize him.
He screamed in his head.
“Stop chasing me!” he thought.
He had tossed all his electronic devices after arriving in Melburgh. More than a dozen groups of people had tracked him down, so he had
nowhere to hide.
He had to find a way to get rid of his mom’s men, or he wouldn’t have the time to look for that scu mbag who abandoned his wife and children.
Suddenly, an announcement grabbed his attention, and his large brown eyes lit up.
“We have a special missing person notice from the Kinsmans in Melburgh. Today is the fifth anniversary of the late Mr. Kinsman’s death, but their youngest, Lucian Kinsman, has gone missing in Mount Julford Cemetery. Whoever comes forward with information about his whereabouts will be rewarded with 1.5 million.”
The photo of the youngest child of the Kinsman family appeared on screen as well.
Stunned, Ezra wondered, “Why does this kid look just like me?
“Could we be b-brothers? Maybe we share the same father too!”
Ezra immediately searched for information on the Kinsmans, but all he found was that the kid’s father was named William Kinsman. There wasn’t even a photo of the father.
William Kinsman? Could William be that scu mbag who he was looking for?
If that was the case, he had better get started.
Infiltrating the Kinsman family would not only help him investigate his relationship with William, but also hide himself from his mom’s tracking. It was killing two birds with one stone!
Ezra looked at the face that was the same as his in the missing person notice with a mischievous look and smiled.

“Sorry, bro! I’ll be borrowing your face for a bit!” he thought.
Without hesitation, Ezra took off his mask, threw away his cap, and swaggered to the reception desk. He looked at the receptionist with a wide and adorable grin.
“Hello, miss. Don’t you think I look like the Kinsman child in the missing person notice?”
Ezra cackled on the inside. From now on, he would be Lucian Kinsman!
“Come on, miss! Take me and claim your reward!” he thought, laughing nonstop in his head.
William’s men searched the cemetery for a whole day but found nothing – except for a mysterious bloodstain near the parking lot of the cemetery.
Gianna sat beside William with her legs curled up, looking weak and delicate. She was wearing a long black dress that framed her exquisite figure.
The dress gave the world a peek at her fair skin and collarbones. Her beautiful eyes were full of tears as she appeared worried and guilty. “I’m sorry, William. This is all my fault! I should’ve kept a tighter watch on Luci!
“He’s already in poor health. If anything happens to him…”
She couldn’t hold back her tears anymore. Suppressing her so bs, she said, “If anything happens to Luci, I’ll…”
William sat on the couch, looking tall and gloomy. He pulled off his tie and said something harsh to Gianna for the first time.
“Stop crying!”
Gianna was so frightened that she instantly stopped talking. She was about to explain herself when she saw William’s assistant, Marshall, rushing in.
“We found a clue, sir! The surveillance cameras around the cemetery have been destroyed, but we still found something. Look at this video; a nearby driver accidentally filmed a mysterious woman leaving with Mr. Lucian in her arms. She was the same woman who paid her respects to the old Mr. Kinsman with lilies today!”
William jolted to his feet and looked at him coldly. “Have you confirmed this?”
“Yes, sir,” Marshall said. “We still don’t know who the woman is, but we’ve found her car in Ambrose Hospital. Young Mr. Kinsman is being treated there for serious injuries, but he’s out of danger now!”

Chapter 3
William frowned and said solemnly, “Let’s go!”
Gianna panicked and wanted to stop him, but it was too late. “Is this true? How’s Luci doing? I want to see him too! Can you take me with you?”
“What’s with that mysterious woman? That bas t ard fell from such a tall mountain! Even his corpse should be hard to find! How can he be still alive?” she wondered.
She wanted to chase after William, but he was gone, not giving her any chance to pester him.
Olivia sat in front of her laptop in Lucian’s ward. Even though she didn’t manage to track down Ezra, she found the Kinsmans’ missing person
notice instead.
But when she found the kid, his face was so injured that she couldn’t get a good look at his appearance.
Before she could figure out what was going on, a group of uninvited guests barged into the ward.
She didn’t expect William to come so soon.
The men in black filled the ward in an instant, and Marshall went straight to the hospital bed. When he saw the unconscious and injured child on the bed, his rage flared up. “Young Mr. Kinsman…”
Even though Lucian had autism and had never spoken before, he was the Kinsmans’ treasure!
