Chapter 20 Jameson’s Idealistic Thoughts

Jameson tore the contract and tossed it away. The air in the room tensed up as other executives, who had just come out of the meeting, discreetly passed by, avoiding confrontation. As Jameson’s secretary, it was inappropriate for Joe Sedwig to simply leave without a word.

He stood to the side, attempting to minimize his presence. However, no matter how inconspicuous he tried to be, he could not escape Jameson’s attention. Jameson glanced at him and demanded, “Give

me your phone.”

Joe’s face turned pale as he handed over his phone. He glanced at Jameson and reluctantly extended his phone. “Chairman Jameson.”

Jameson took the phone without a word. Seeing that it was locked, he was about to speak when Joe, nervously, stepped forward and used his fingerprint to unlock it.

Jameson’s face remained stoic as he entered Marion’s phone number on Joe’s device. This time,

Marion answered promptly, “Hello, this is Marion.”
