Aisha’s POV.
I reached into my pocket and pulled out the first aid kit, setting it down in front of Nelly. “This might hurt a little,” I said, trying to sound reassuring.
She nodded and closed her eyes, bracing herself. I took a deep breath, trying to steady my hands. I reached for the antiseptic and dabbed it on her wound, careful not to touch the broken skin.
Nelly flinched and let out a small whimper, but she kept her eyes closed. I took another deep breath, attempting to remain calm.
Suddenly, I heard a scream, followed by a loud bang as the door flew open. Nelly’s eyes flew open,
and we both turned to see who had entered the room. It was Kex, his eyes blazing with fury. Behind him was Harry, his face pale with worry. Kex strode over to Nelly and grabbed her roughly by the arm.
“What the hell did you do to Emily?” he demanded, his voice filled with rage. I felt my heart pounding in my chest, and I took a step back, unsure of what to do.
Nelly stammered, “I-I didn’t do anything, she was the one who started it. I swear.”
But my heart was pounding, and my palms were sweaty. I could not think anymore. “I was the one who hit her,” I admitted, my voice shaking.
I could feel everyone’s eyes on me, but I was unable to look up. I felt like a child being scolded for something I knew was wrong. I had to face the consequences of my actions. I just hoped they wouldn’t be too harsh.
“Stop lying, Aisha,” Nelly said, her voice quivering with emotion. “I was the one who hit her. She’s not telling the truth.”
I looked at her, my heart racing. I couldn’t believe she was actually trying to defend me. “Alpha Kex, she’s trying to defend me,” I said, my voice quivering.

“Enough!”Alpha Kex bellowed, his anger bubbling over. He grabbed Nelly by the arm and began to drag her towards the door. She let out a small cry of pain, but Alpha Kex didn’t seem to hear her. I stood frozen in place, unable to move. But then, something inside of me snapped.”
“Alpha, please!” I begged, my voice breaking. I ran after them, trying to keep up. Nelly’s. eyes were filled with fear, and she was struggling to break free. “Let her go!” I shouted,

Kex stopped and turned to face me, his expression filled with rage. “You are lucky you are Harry’s woman,” he hissed, his grip tightening on Nelly’s arm as he used his other hand to hold my jaw. “If not, I would have cut your tongue out for shouting at me.”
I whimpered in pain. and I could feel tears streaming down my face. I spat out a mouthful of blood. feeling my knees go weak as he let go of my jaw. “Watch your woman,” Kex said, his gaze cold as ice as he looked at Harry.
He began to drag Nelly away, and I ran after them, my heart pounding in my chest. But just as I reached them. Harry grabbed me from behind.
“Aisha, stop!” he said, his voice stern. “By going after them, you will only make things worse. You’ll only add to Nelly’s punishment.”
I froze, my mind racing. I didn’t want Nelly to be punished for something that was my fault. But I couldn’t stand by and let her suffer. I was stuck, unsure of what to do.
Harry’s arms wrapped around me. “It’s not your fault, Aisha,” he choked out, his voice cracking.
“This is all on me. I should have protected her. Now she’s suffering from my mistakes.” I buried my face in his chest, feeling his heart beating beneath his shirt. “I’m so sorry, Nelly,” I said, my words muf fled. “I never meant for any of this to happen.” I felt him. hold me tighter, his breath shuddering in my car.
He led me to my room, his arm around my shoulders, supporting me as we walked. We sat down on the edge of the bed, and he reached for a pitcher of water on the table. He poured some into a cup and handed it to me.
“Here,” he said softly. “Take a drink.”
I took the cup from him, my hands shaking slightly. I took a small sip, the cool water soothing my parched throat. “Thank you,” I whispered, my voice barely audible.”What do you think he’s going to do to her?” I asked, the words catching in my throat.
Harry looked at me, his expression grim. “It’s best if you don’t think about it,” he said. “Just try to focus on yourself.”
But I couldn’t help but think about what might be happening to Nelly. “Is it really that bad?” I asked, my voice small.
“It’s worse than you can imagine,” he said, his voice heavy with sorrow. “But we have to trust that Alpha will not hurt her that bad like others.”
