I sighed as I placed my phone back on the bedside table.

“Is everything okay?” Tessa called out from the bathroom before she walked into the bedroom.

“My brother. He is just worried about Mom. We didn’t tell him anything since he had exams.” I answered while she sat on the bed beside me as I lay on my back.
