I watched as four maids entered Aurora’s room with trays of food and drinks before shaking my head at Ivan who was standing in front of them, chaperoning what was going on.

His eyes met mine and he nodded in greeting, and I raised an eyebrow. “She needs to eat. The maids found her laying on the ground with little to no energy. I told her that she had to eat for the child’s safety, and if she is craving anything, all she had to do was ask. You know, the last thing that we want or need is a weak Alpha heir.” He explained and I nodded. I knew that he was right about what he was saying, but I had to admit, the last thing that I expected was for her to be losing her energy.
