Chapter 29 – Who Was At My Door?

“You didn’t need to walk me back,” Lucy inclined her head to me as we walked. ‘Didn’t you want to stay with your mates?’

I had never had many friends, certainly none like her, and I would never have thought in a million years I would have become friends with a woman who had been hitting on my mates. I suppose life was full of surprises.
